Maths activities in room two.

Edith from room three is showing her work to Mum.

Lily is visiting room three to see her cousin Edith in the classroom.

Parents and children from room three had a lovely celebration of learning on Thursday evening. Thank you all for coming. It was so much fun to see the children sharing their work with Mum and Dad.

At choosing time we made  house outside.

Amelie and Ava made this beautiful pattern at wet lunch break today.

 News time in room two featuring news bear. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we have news. Each person has a turn. We start by saying " Good morning room two. My name is ---- and I have ( don't have some news today." We encourage clear speech, correct prononciation and polite listening.

First we got a slice of bread.

Next we spread margarine and sprinkled sprinkles onto the bread.

We cut our fairy bread in half.

We then cut our halves in half to make four quarters.

During our maths this week we have been looking at fractions.

We have cut shapes in half and into quarters.

We made fairy bread and cut it into two halves and four quarters. Yummy!
